So when
I started Wicked Designs I thought it would just be the standard Historical
Romance, but not even half way through the first chapter I realized how wrong I
was!
From
the very beginning this book was different from everything I have ever read, to
start with you get equal amounts of male point of view to female points of
review. Both main characters have flaws, it’s not just one sided, as most
Historical romances have. I also love the fact the male characters are all
aware of their flaws and either try to improve themselves or just make fun of
themselves and each other.
I love
the character Emily. Although she has a sharp tongue sometimes, she does have a
caring heart and a sometimes a devious mind. Godric is a little more complex,
but ultimately a loveable character.
