a toxic but affluent family. Where her father is man that comes across as a
charming gentleman, but is really a slime ball and her mother is pretty much a
door mat. And so far, things have been going to plan, that is until she met
Daniel Vargas.
Daniel Vargas is not what people thinks he is. The persona he betrays
is the one of a affluent background, and
that everything is handed to him on a plate, including women. But that is FAR
from the truth! But Daniel hasn't really been interested in correcting that
illusion, until he met Mimi! And he doesn't know why he is so determined to
prove to Mimi that he is nothing like her father.
Despite all of Mimi convictions; Daniel and Mimi can't help themselves
and they take that step across that professional/personal line, but will they
survive that first obstacle they encounter?
I was thrilled to see that Mia Sosa's next installment of The Suits
Undone series was now available and after Mark and Karen's roller-coaster
romance, I KNEW I needed this book! Seriously, it's a good thing I have kindle
edition's or I would be on my 2nd paperback copies by now.
When it comes to Getting Dirty with the CEO; Mia Sosa didn't let me
down in any way! Omg! It's delicious! I loved Daniel's cocky exterior and
Mimi's jaded view. I also am very intrigued by Daniel's partners!! Especially
Jason and I have to say, I'm really intrigued on how he is going to get along
with Nina, since he was SO apposed to Daniel and Jason dating!
When it comes to the writing and the plot, the author weaves her
stories around you, so you are hopelessly entangled and deliriously happy, so
much so that you walk a around with a sappy grin, and everyone wants to know
what is going on!
I want to thank the author for getting me hopelessly addicted to her
writing, that I now am working my was through this whole series again and
eagerly awaiting the next book! And yes! She even has he own folder on my
kindle, so I don't have to search! Lol
I give Getting Dirty with the CEO 5 stars!
Daniel
hadn’t lied when he’d told Mimi touching her ass was the last thing he wanted
to do. Because, damn, there were so many other parts of her body he could
explore before he got to her backside.
What a
tempting picture she made. The
mud covered her body, leaving nothing to his imagination. The curve of her
breasts, the soft flare of her hips, the flat plane of her stomach—all of it
lay before him, a veritable late-night snack run for his eyes.
He
wanted her. Badly. But she’d made it clear there’d be no romantic connection
between them, so he vowed to enjoy her in whatever way she’d allow. And he was
a guy, so right now he was enjoying the view of her ass as she climbed the
five-foot wall that separated them from the finish line. He stood ready to help
her, but she didn’t need it.
She
grasped the braided rope and placed the sole of one foot on the wall. As she
lifted her arm to grasp another section of rope, the muscles in her toned arms
flexed with the exertion. Watching her challenge her body satisfied his very
elemental need to admire the beauty of a woman’s physique in motion. Faster
than he’d expected, she hoisted one leg over the top of the wall, swinging the
other leg around before she disappeared from his view.
And when
he cleared the wall after her, she stood on the other side, looking dirty,
adorable, and pleased with herself.
“What
took you so long?” she asked between pants.
“These
old legs aren’t as spry as they used to be,” he said.
Her gaze
flew to his thighs. “Those are hardly old legs. You’re built like a stallion
down there.”
He
stared at her until her eyes went wide, and he couldn’t help chuckling. “You
said it. Not me.”
She
grimaced. “Ugh. My mouth gets me in so much trouble.”
He
stared at her—again, until her eyes went wide—again.
She
brushed the hair off her face and straightened her shorts. “I’m just going to
shut up now.”

things get even more awkward when they have the surprise wedding for Ethan and
Gracie and they are best man and Maid of Honor.
Mark
doesn't do long term relationships...because he doesn't have the time, but he
can give them one night, which is exactly what he plans for Karen, until he
finds out that not only is she is his best friends future sister in law, but
only 21 to boot! But he can't get her out of his mind. Now he has to survive
3 days in Puerto Rico with her and not
give into desire.
But
of course they give in, but when Mark's mother suddenly comes back into his
life and brings back memories he would like to forget and Karen gets a bad
grade Mark calls a halt to their relationship...but did he make the biggest
mistake of their lives.
One
Night with the CEO is a great summer time read and it kept me gripped till the
end. The characters are enjoyable, especially Mimi! Honestly I don't think I
have laughed so much and when I read her scenes and I hope she has her own
book. The writing and plot were great and smooth and without plot holes.

give One Night with the CEO 4 stars!

Well,
that had escalated quickly.
Mark’s mouth captured hers. She tasted salt and a hint of sweetness on
his lips, a heady combination that made her moan in appreciation. She arched
into him, wanting—no, needing—
to feel his body against hers. He responded by snaking his hand under her hair
and caressing her neck. Seconds later, he wrapped his other hand around her
middle and stroked her back. Mark’s kiss promised a full-body experience, and
she shivered in response to all the points of contact. Finally, he drew back,
gulping in air. Oh, right. She needed
to breathe. Funny how easily he made her forget a minor inconvenience like
breathing.
She pressed her face against his chest and held on to the lapels of his
suit jacket as she took in air. “What’s happening?”
He brushed his fingers against her hair. “I’m sorry for acting like an
ass.”
She looked up at him then. “That’s your version of an apology?”
He stepped back and ran a hand through his hair. “No, that’s my version
of being selfish. What I should have done was apologize for being a jerk to
you. You didn’t deserve it.”
She nodded. “You’ll get no argument from me there.”
He stepped toward her and reached for her hands. “I wanted to kiss you,
but I didn’t think it would be a smart move, so I took my frustration out on
you.”
“And the kiss?”
He dropped her hands and shoved his own in his pockets. “The kiss is
harder to explain.”
“Um, unless I’m missing something, the phenomenon is called attraction.
Your pheromones and my pheromones are sending chemo-signals to each other.
Totally normal.”
He gave her his trademark half smile. “Totally not a good idea,
either.”
She didn’t disagree with him. Doing anything
with Mark didn’t figure in her plans, no matter how much he’d nearly owned her
with a single kiss. “Again, you’ll get no argument from me. Still, that kiss
was pretty freaking hot.”
Mark closed his eyes and raised his head to the night sky. “Stop doing
that. I’m relying on you to be the voice of reason in this situation.”
Ha. That was cute. But she’d oblige him anyway, because she needed to
put the kiss in its proper place: a momentary lapse in judgment not to be repeated.
If she didn’t, he’d consume her thoughts, and she couldn’t afford the
distraction. “Mark, look around. We’re in Puerto Rico.
You look hot. I look hot. It’s hot, period. And we’re standing in front of a
garden. You hear that?”
“What?”
“The coquis.”
“What’s a coqui?”
She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “Only one of the most important
cultural symbols of Puerto Rico.” When he
stared at her blankly, she continued. “The tiny frogs, Mark. You must have seen
them everywhere at the airport. T-shirts, mugs, hats, you name it. Listen.”
They faced each other in silence. “That’s their mating call,” she told
him. “They’re practically begging us to lock lips. You can’t be faulted for
wanting to kiss me under these circumstances.”
He bridged the distance between them. “What if I told you I’ve wanted
to kiss you every single second I’ve been in your presence? Can you explain
that?”
She gulped. “Well, that’s a little harder to explain.”
He pressed his hand against the back of her neck and pulled her flush against
him. “And I’ve never wanted to stop at kissing. I want us to do more than that.
A lot
more.”
