As a huge Lori Foster fan, I was thrilled to get my hands on her latest book, Hard Justice. In fact I have been dying to read it for weeks, but it's finally here and what better time to read it, but when I'm snowed in and can read it without interruption.
Fallon is an extremely sheltered young women, who just wants to experience a regular life, but in order to at least have a little freedom, her father insists on her having a bodyguard, but none of them expected a Mohawk tattoo former MMA fighter to turn up!
Justice was new to Body Armor, but he took his job seriously, but when he was fired by Fallons father for following protocol, Justice concern that Fallons protection would be substandard...and also he couldn't get that innocent, curious and sexy girl out of his head.
But when Fallons finds out Justice had been fired, she goes on the offensive and threatens to move out, unless he is hired back. Which if course he is, because after losing on daughter, her parents were determined to protect their only living child.
Then Fallons ex Marcus turns up and Justice sees fear in Fallons eyes, he knows there is a lot more than just a simple break up going on....but will Justice be able to keep her safe?
I will say this from the get go, Lori Foster knocked it out of the park with Hard Justice! I also loved seeing the old crew from her past books, but also meeting more characters from the Body Armor Agency.
The chemistry between Justice and Fallon was delicious and I loved the way that Fallons father had to grovel to Justice after his ridiculous firing. I honestly can't wait for the next installment of the Body Armor series!
I give Hard Justice 5 stars!

know her itinerary?” the man asked.
“Even
we don’t know it,” her mother explained.
“That’s
good then. Not like anyone can plan to use her if they don’t know where she’ll
be.” The bodyguard sounded accepting of all the rules. “Don’t sweat it.”
Fallon
strangled on a breath. Dear God, he’d just told her mother not to “sweat it.”

her parents had a complete meltdown.
Tonight
was a meet and greet, and hopefully the path to fun and cutting loose and
finally being free. Safely. If all went well, if the bodyguard suited
her, she’d get to be on her own, living her life without the shackles of the
past. Limited freedom, yes. There were some things that, for her, would never
change.
She’d
had a very sharp reminder of that lately.
However,
she could change the scenery. She could change the outlook and her attitude.
And she would.

I'm so excited to be reading and reviewing Under Pressure by Lori Foster, I have been a huge fan for years and love the beginning of every new series, but this book is a little different, as we have met Leese and Justice before in the Ultimate series.
In the year that Leese has left the MMA ring, he has become an elite bodyguard at thee Body Armor security come, owned and operated by the intriguing owner Sahara (whom I'm dying to know more about, and who murdered her brother!).
But Leese's assignment is to find and protect Catalina Nicholson, but things are not quite what they seem; so Leese does the only thing he can think of, and takes her back to the office. But Lesse and his team don't know who they are up against and Cat is keeping her mouth closed, in order to keep everyone safe! Only to have that back fire spectacularly!
So I went in to Under Pressure with no expectations at all, as I have learnt that you never quite know what the story is actually going to be about, you just know it's going to to excellent! And the author didn't disappoint. The writing was excellent and the plot (in my opinion) was thrilling and smooth and without plot holes.
When it comes to characters, you can't help but love Lease! I liked him in the ultimate series, but you honestly fall in love with him in Under Pressure. I was on the fence about Cat's character, but you soon grow to like her. The two people I was most intrigued about, we're Sahara and Enoch! Seriously, I need to know more about these two!
The book is fast paced, full of action and suspense and by the end of the book you are left breathless.
I give Under Pressure 5 stars!

“You do tempt me,” she
whispered, her smile in place. “I didn’t realize it was mutual though.”
“Now you do.” And maybe she’d be more
circumspect.
“Because I’m convenient?”
she asked. “Or somewhat—” her expression pinched “—desperate?”
The uncertainty twisted
his guts. He glanced at her mouth. “Because you’re hot.”
Her teeth bit into her
bottom lip. “You really think so?”
Intuitively knowing she
needed to hear it, he shared his thoughts. It wasn’t in the best interest of his
sanity, but he liked seeing her blush.
He especially liked the
way she looked at him.
“You, lady, are sexiness
in a very small, sweet package.”
“Usually I’m told I’m too
thin.”
Leese slowly shook his
head. “You have the right look and the right attitude to push all my buttons.”
Gifting him with that
cocky smile he admired, she opened her hands on his chest. “Mmm. I think I like
that.”
“What?”
“Pushing your buttons.”
Her fingers trailed up to his shoulders, then around his neck.
Leese started to lean down
when Justice knocked again.
Cat froze, then panicked.
“Oh my God. That’s Justice, right? I forgot all about him!” She pushed against
Leese, trying to slide free.
He wanted to groan.
In truth, he should thank
Justice for keeping him from doing anything insane. “Shh. Take it easy.” He
rolled to the side of her and watched her shoot off the bed, then make a mad
dash around to the bedroom.
Her ass looked really
nice as she did so.
After scrubbing both hands over his face,
Leese forced himself from
the bed and went to the door. He peeked out first.
Justice stood there
holding a tray with coffee and a basket of Danish pastries. Time to get the day
started.
Past time to work through the puzzle of
the current case: Catalina Nicholson.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! That is exactly how I feel about Buckhorn summer! I
loved that the author has taken us back there! Seriously, I have loved this
series for years! And it’s the one series that I re-read every summer hoping
upon hope that a real town like Buckhorn will spring up in my own little part
of Pennsylvania. This town and the characters are BRILLIANT!
The characters truly made the book for me! It seems that the cousins
are coming out of the woodwork like crazy! Grey!! Wow Grey! I absolutely love
him and I wish he was real! I will also have to say that I love that it is
Lisa's story and that she has an alpha type personality like her father Jordan!
I would just like to offer a quick and Huge THANKS to the author for including
"the originals" Buckhorn brothers into the story! I will have to say
that I honestly still don't know which one I like the most! But I'm excited to
meet the new generation. W
Lori Foster's writing is truly amazing and I have always loved that
fact that she writes the stories from both the male and female perspective! I
love the way that the author has designed a whole town, and ties multiple
characters into the story! I love the way that the author has never dragged out
the story line or left plot holes to drive the readers nuts! I just wish more
authors could be like Lori Foster and write such magnificent tales.
I give Buckhorn Summer 5 Stars!

Lori Fosters books have always grabbed my attention and Don't Tempt Me
is no exception. The authors writing is always inspired and gripping, but Honor
and Jason's story has such a hold on me, that I'm praying that it's a LONG
series!
There are so many characters in this book that you will fall in love
with, that you will have a hard time choosing your favorite. To begin with
Honor; she has seen such little love in her life, that she struggles to make
friends and accept help! That when she does, you are just left in tears. Then
there is Lexie; whom everyone first thinks is a flirt and party girl, but Lexie
is so much more, if you just look below
the surface. Hunky Jason is not ready for love, but when he finds it, he grabs
it with both hands. Sullivan is a bad boy with a heart, that is surprised by
Lexie's every turn and can't get enough of her. Colt is struggling to find he
feet in a new town…I could honestly go on and on! But I love them all…even Aunt
Celeste.
I give Don't Tempt Me 5 stars!
