You start the story with a media sensation, a mermaid has been spotted at Mermaid Point, and now Laurie’s (our heroine of the story) café is filled with tourists and she is loving it, and then in walks Jake. Jake has been covering some really tough stories as a journalist and it has beaten him down, now showing signs as burnt out, he is sent to Mermaid Point to give him a chance to get himself together and get the story, but what he wasn’t expecting was to fall in love.
Summer at Mermaid Point is a total feel-good romance, it the normal miscommunications and Happy Ever After that we as romance readers all want, this book is perfect it de-stress you at the end of a long day and leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling.
