WELCOME TO THE BEAUTIFUL SEASIDE TOWN OF PORT AGNES.

It’s wedding day in Port Agnes! The venue is booked, the dress is picked, and Senior Midwife Anna Jones only has to say ‘I Do!’ to theman she loves! Theirs might have been a whirlwind romance, but Brae Penrose is everything Anna dreamed her husband would be and she can’t wait to start a family with him.

But as the big day approaches, Anna still isn’t pregnant and when disaster strikes, their perfect day looks destined not to happen at all! Is it a sign to slow things down?

The other midwives won’t hear of Anna and Brae postponing their big day, and soon the whole community of Port Agnes comes together to make sure the Penrose wedding goes off without a hitch!

And Anna realises, baby or not, she already has her dream family with Brae and her friends by her side.

Meet The Cornish Midwives of Port Agnes- where community, friendship and love are always delivered. An uplifting and escapist read, perfect for fans of Christie Barlow, Jessica Redland and Holly Mart

A Summer Wedding for the Cornish Midwife is an absolute gem of a book that delivers a wallop from the very first chapter.

If you have read the first book in the Cornish Midwife series, then you would have met Anna and Brave, and know they have that special kind of love for each other, that pureness that few have in the real world and few authors write about.

So we start the book in the build up to Anna and Brae’s wedding, and Anna just can’t seem to shake that weird feeling that she has, like something is going to go wrong, and oh boy does it! But you just can’t help but have a strong connection to Anna and sympathize with her. Also you can’t help but admire Brae’s dedication and love for her. But there is more to St. Agnes that just the wedding, and the one part that will stick with me forever is Brae and Dan and their re-enactment of ET!

From missing boats and breech births, to a shocking fire and a surprise proposal! A Summer Wedding for the Cornish Midwife has it all!

I give A Summer Wedding for the Cornish Midwife 5 stars!
